A legacy is what someone is remembered for or what they have left behind that is remembered, revered or has impacted current events and the present day. On February 12, 2010, Dr. & Mrs. Lonnie S. Stinson celebrated 39 years of marriage during which time their lives have epitomized the meaning of legacy. As a couple, they surrendered their lives to the Lord's leading and having put their hands "to the plow," they have not looked back with a single regret. Southside Baptist Ministries is blessed beyond measure with a "first family" that has a love and dedication to the church, school, and most importantly, the will of God. The SBM Family honors that sacrifice and gives God all of the glory for the great things He has done in and through the Stinson Family.
